thank you, great cathedral effects.
foobar 2000 will play dvd-a.iso and sacd.iso if the proper components are installed.
How can one play the dvd-a .iso on a windows 7 computer?
You are a saint among men. Thank you so much! Hats off to you :)
DVD-A added
C’mon Mr.whatever, DVD-Audio rip pretty pretty please ^_^
Again, I will gladly buy you a case of premium beer to get this to work. I’ve wanted to hear it in quad since I got the original LP back in the late 70’s. (yeah, I’m an old fart!)
hey guys, this is not SACD-rip, this is a copy of SACD. it doesn’t play on usual CD-players.
you can read about SACD on wiki.
the only thing i can do to add this SACD converted to DVD-Audio
I want to play it on a compatible Sony Blu Ray player, BDS580 which does play SACD’s. I was trying to burn the ISO on a DVD as I had with another recording.
Now, I also found this entire recording in FLAC, but not sure how to convert it to a compatible audio format.
Thanks.
DVD-Audio would be appreciated, please :)
Whatever,
If I get this to work, I’ll buy you a case of beer! I”ve gone through 2 LP’s and 1 CD of this album in stereo and I can still kick myself for not buying the SACD when it first came out!
I also downloaded this, joined the files and am having the same issue. It won’t create the ISO and says it’s either an unknown file type or is corrupted. I have ImageBurn and MagicISO to burn to disk, btw.
Please whatever or Rachmaninov, I leave for Europe on Sunday and want this for on the plane :) Can a fixed ISO be reuploaded?
Hi Mr. J. :)
This is Whatever’s job, sorry….
Have a good flight and bring me something fine :D
Thanks very much ^^ I hope that the records reach you safely from Berlin!
And of course I will be looking forward to that amazing Penderecki record rip :D
Same problem as Tokaji. Please help.
I downloaded from Filesonic… the iso is damaged. Could you please check it?
@Tokaji
This is ISO file i.e. SACD rip file. It is not mountable as standard ISO and you cannot unrar it. I am using Mac and I burned image using DiskUtil, it plays wonderfully in Cambridge Audio as regular SACD. If you are using Windows there are many ways to burn ISO image on a disc. If you want to play it on PC you’ll have to play a bit with software to get playable versions.
On Windows only platform you can use Scarletbook.exe to extract dff files from ISO and that you can convert them to wav, aiff, flac… with Weiss Saracon or Korg Audiogate. There is Audiogate Mac version.
Cheers
SUPERB upload! Haven’t tried it yet but I’m all ears. Probably 5 of them, or somethin’, huh?
waiting for your further comments here ;)
