Rosso: Italian Baroque Arias
Rosso: Italian Baroque Arias is a 2010 Deutsche Grammophon recording starring soprano Patricia Petibon as she sings Italian Baroque arias by a variety of artists, e.g., Handel, Stradella and Marcello. She sings with much intensity and I feel that she understands the music of the Italian Baroque era. Andrea Marcon leads the Venic Baroque Orchestra. The booklet contains well-written music notes, a few nice photographs of Ms. Petibon but no lyrics. I completely loved every second of this stupendous recording. Highly recommended. 5/5.
Beautiful woman + beautiful music, thank you!
