nice collection

These discs present a good option for one’s introduction to Borodin’s music. The Gothenburg symphony plays quite well, although they are not at the level of the top orchestras. The rare flub should not deter anyone from buying this, as they really are quite small and rare. I like Neeme Jarvi’s interpretation for i feel that he is best with scandinavian and russian music. The sound is also good, as one would expect from DG, but it’s nothing extraordinary. Overall, this is a very good collection.
