The album of Johann Sebastian Bach’s works performed by Alla Ablaberdyeva (soprano) and the chamber orchestra Ricercar released on vinyl in 1983. The program includes a recording of the Wedding Cantata, selected arias from St John Passion, Magnificat, the sacred cantata Blessed Is the Man (BWV 57), and the famous Coffee Cantata. Alla Ablaberdyeva was a student of Nina Dorliak and prize-winner of prestigious international competitions. In the 1980s, she was a soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic Society.
