A discovery
I thoroughly agree that this set is well worth exploring. The music is individual, imaginative and quite quirky in a good way, there being such an eclectic mix of French, German and English styles. Anyone who likes Handel’s harpsichord suites should try this. In fact the booklet lists no less than 16 compositions by Handel with borrowing from these suites by Muffat! The performance and sound are excellent. Another great issue from Mitzi Meyerson.
Many thanks for this :-)
