The MDR Chamber Choir is one of the most sough after vocal ensembles from around the world, bringing 73 singers of various nationalities together. Alongside well-known German Christmas carols such as Stille Nacht or Vom Himmel Hoch, many members of the choir have chosen carols from their own countries for this release, carols that are not only closely connected with their country’s traditions but also have a special personal meaning for them.
