On this debut album, The German Album, Verita Baroque Ensemble bring well-known works from the baroque era by Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann paired with the premiere recordings of a specially-commissioned piece by one of their composers in residence, SJ Hanke.
The tracks on this album were recorded in four different baroque castles. This baroque repertoire is played on historical instruments and recorded in halls for which is was originally composed, therefore, creating an authentic atmosphere. The recording makes use of innovative recording and mixing techniques and was made 360* and mixed to create a rich immersive sound experience.
Established in the middle of pandemic by flutist Taya Konig-Tarasevich and cellist Bartolomeo Dandolo Marchesi, this ensemble rapidly captured the finest of next generation baroque musicians, and together got the reputation as one of world’s premier ensembles.
By partnering with scientists, sound engineers, movie makers and disruptive marketeers, this ensemble found a unique format of communication with a wide ranges of global audiences. Verita transforms lesser known jewels of baroque architecture (castles) into immersive pavilions.
