Schuricht’s own Bach & Handel performance, with all fancy decorations and exaggerated expressions removed, is revived in SACD!
The CD layer recurs with new remastering that is different from the conventional version!

SAW hybrid specification board of TWCO-55 / 6 released on November 8, 2013 (CD layer is another mastering). J.S.Bach and Handel recordings by the tasteful modern orchestra of Schuricht. SACD hybrid of the performances left on the concert hall label. With SACD, you can enjoy high-quality sound very close to the master tape. In addition, the CD layer is now mastering with DENON genuine equipment from the analog master this time (2016), so you can enjoy sound quality different from the conventional release board. This CD layer is positioned as an extra to enjoy more music. As a “plus alpha”, it is a limited edition that can be enjoyed even by those who have a conventional CD. In this 4th release, a total of 4 titles will be released, including one new item in the series. Schuricht’s fruit is a hidden masterpiece, Bach’s Orchestral Suite Nos. 2 & 3 and Handel recorded as a two-disc set. These performances, which were recorded at about the same time, are rare masterpieces in which Schuricht’s performance style and interpretation of the songs match perfectly. The straightforward expression in “Aria on the G line” clearly illustrates the splendor of this board. Schuricht’s Bach & Handel performance, which is completely free of fake and exaggerated expressions, has not faded musically even today. Unlike conventional products, in 2013, new remastering was performed from analog master tapes held in Nippon Columbia. We aimed for the best sound quality so far. What is not Schuricht’s interpretation is that it is not a blatant interpretation, as is often the case with the baroque performance of the conductor of the past. In Handel, it is performed with sincere and straightforward expressions, and many people would give a certain evaluation if it was not this performance. In Bach it is more thorough, in a way it seems to proceed instinctively, and it is a wonderful performance that reproduces amazing nuances from the music you hear. At the same time, we will release “The Complete Brandenburg Concerto”, Schuricht’s last studio recording. At the same time, you can enjoy the high-quality sound of Süricht’s art by modern orchestra that has been lost in modern times. At the time of the CD recurrence in 2013, a new high-resolution master was created from an analog master in Nippon Columbia. It has been carefully digitized (192kHz / 24bit) from an analog master, and further mastering has been applied. The sound quality that was well received at the last CD release was further upgraded in the SACD layer. You can enjoy the vividness and delicate sound of stringed instruments.
