After a little digging, determined that these overtures are perfomed by Utah Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Joseph Silverstein, recorded about 1989. Very well recorded and perfomed ( originally by Sine Qua Non productions, (from Utah Symphony web site, perhaps in the Mormon Tabernacle, known for its good acoustics?)
