… as highly reviewed as some other versions but I like it very much
This performance of the Requiem is not as highly reviewed as some other versions but I like it very much. I prefer it to other versions I have including that by Guilini (which seems over produced and sterile in comparison). If you want a good, honest reading of the work then you won’t go far wrong with this – and it’s cheap! Then, as a bonus you have Judith Blegen singing, “Exsultate, Jubilate” which is a real delight.
Thank you very much!
My Favorite Sacred Piece Ever, Thank you very much
Wonderful Performance by Rilling!
