KAIROS celebrates Friedrich Cerha’s 93rd birthday in February 2019 with the release of the 1988 recording of his dadaistic cycle ‘Eine Art Chansons’, performed by HK Gruber. While this might be a surprising work for many of Cerha’s fans, it is by no means untypical for Cerha’s unique grasp of the 20th century diversity of musical styles and genres.
