Composed and conducted by renowned composer Enno Poppe(b.1969), this disc is a series of commissions of various chamber works with different combinations of instruments and voice.
The composer is particularly interested in the Hammond organ and explores this instrument in ‘Arbeit 1’(2007) which he composed for ‘virtual’ Hammond organ.
The other pieces are written variously for flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone and violin, viola, cello piano, keyboards and percussion.
The ensemble mosaic rises to the occasion and performs this contemporary music with great authority, under the guidance of Enno Poppe himself.
