JS Bach’s catalog of works includes 1128 compositions, but in fact he composed more. Unfortunately, numerous pieces have not survived, and some works are only incompletely preserved, either because the composer himself did not finish them or because part of the manuscript has been lost.
Lorenzo Ghielmi has taken on the challenging task of completing all of Bach’s fragmentary surviving organ works. With this project he makes it possible for us to discover largely forgotten works from Bach’s musical legacy
