A great pianist at his best with Beethoven

A great pianist at his best with Beethoven, supported by an excellent orchestra conducted by the great Karl Bohm. This recording is sounding even better than before due to the OIBP remastering and is well worth buying if you love this wonderful music because put simply it does not get much better than this. As far as I am concerned, Pollini stands alongside Perahia and Ashkenazy as three of my favourite Beethoven interpreters, they are all fantastic. Get this disc in your collection while it is available.
