In 1637, the soldier mercenary Captain Tobias Hume went on a mission to India where he met a sarangi player. Hume introduced himself in music: his work as a soldier, his travels, his passion for music, his mischievous, duplicitous love affairs… The sarangi player answered him before they combined their sounds.
